a new collaboration between the jewellery house and
a feature film
The SOVA jewellery house continues
the story of Mavka — this time in collaboration
with the new feature film Mavka.
The Real Myth,” which reveals Ukrainian mythology in a profound and
realistic interpretation.
The new collection conveys the vivid,
sensual connection between humans and nature —
the very same connection that gives rise to
the love between Mavka and Lukyan in the film.
Inspired by the atmosphere of ancient forests
during the magical Rusalky Week,
the new collection draws on three
key images in the film: Water Lily,
Fern and Mavka’s Pendant — symbols
that reveal the visual language of the film through the form, texture and meaning
embedded in each piece of jewellery.
