ÁRIA — jewellery that embodies lightness, freedom of movement and the natural
lustre of mother-of-pearl.
The name ÁRIA translates from Italian as ‘air’.
It is precisely this sensation that forms the basis of the collection’s mood: light, fluid and weightless, like movement in dance.
That is why the visual narrative of ÁRIA continues in ballet — an art form where movement becomes the language of emotion, and lightness is born of strength, discipline and mastery.
The star of the shoot was Anastasia Shevchenko, a ballerina with the National Opera of Ukraine. Her image is straight out of a painting by Edgar Degas: a ballerina in a ‘pas’, bathed in the light of the spotlights, in silence and with an anticipation of the next movement.
